On 8–9 October 2026, Digital Park in Chișinău hosted the first MDNOG — Moldova Network Operators Group conference. More than 150 network engineers, telecom operators and IT specialists from Moldova and abroad attended two days of technical talks.
For TMG Events it was a special project: we ran our AI-powered simultaneous translation service at an event of this scale, delivering the translation straight to participants’ headsets.
What we delivered
- Real-time AI translation RO ⇄ EN. Talks in Romanian were translated into English and vice versa. Participants listened on TMG receivers and headsets, not on their phones.
- Live streaming with auto-tracking PTZ cameras that follow the speaker on stage.
- Video and audio direction for the room and the stream.
- TV prompter for speakers.
- Receiver distribution and collection by TMG staff.
The challenge: highly technical content
MDNOG is a specialist conference: routing, information security, network infrastructure. The terminology is dense and speakers present fast. Before the event we ran a test on a recording of a previous talk; the organisers listened to the translation and approved the solution.
